Jef has been creating and producing award winning advertising, marketing and branding campaigns for more than 13 years. He has led large creative teams in a variety of different marketing venues. Prior to coming to The M-Line, Jef was most recently at Anderson&Lembke, where he was a creative director, responsible for all of Microsoft’s Internet and home retail division. Launching MSN in 1998, with the “Do” campaign, Jef created and managed outdoor, print, radio and online efforts that helped MSN overtake Yahoo as the number one preferred home page in the world. Previously Jef was the senior art director at Wunderman Cato Johnson where his creative efforts in direct marketing won several key pieces of business. Macromedia awarded Wunderman their entire advertising account based on the work Jef and his team produced. During Jef’s tenure, Wunderman was Apple Computer’s Direct Marketing Agency. Jef created many direct mail and direct print advertising campaigns, one so successful Steve Jobs tripled the insertion and extended the campaign when he returned to Apple. Along with this experience Jef has also created event marketing materials, promotional marketing campaigns and television campaigns. He has worked for other major brands including Budget Rent-A-Car, Visa, Baskin Robbins, Oral-B, Nestle and Wells Fargo. Jef is the recipient of numerous awards in advertising, branding and collateral design including Print, The San Francisco Show, The One Show, ADDY, West Coast Show and Pioneer.
